In an extremely competitive qualification at the Belgian Spa-Francorchamps track, Bulgarian driver Nikola Tsolov from the Campos Racing team reinforced his reputation as a promising talent in world motorsport. Despite the meteorological challenges that forced the organizers to postpone the start of the qualification session, Tsolov managed to secure seventh starting position.

Although he did not manage to achieve his third consecutive pole position after his impressive performances in Austria and Great Britain, the young driver demonstrated remarkable competitiveness. His fastest lap time of 2:04.587 minutes was just 0.334 seconds behind leader Brad Benavides from AIX Racing, who recorded 2:04.253 minutes.

In the qualification standings, American Benavides won first place, followed by the general classification leader Rafael Camara from Brazil, representing the Trident team. The third position was taken by British driver Callum Voisin, racing for Rodin Motorsport.

In an emotional interview for Diema Sport, Tsolov shared: "We haven't analyzed what happened in detail yet, but I was just three tenths of a second away from pole position. This track is not the most critical for starting from the first position, but I am disappointed after my previous performances".

The upcoming race includes sprint races on Saturday at 10:15 AM Bulgarian time and the main racing series on Sunday at 9:30 AM. Nikola Tsolov will start seventh in Sunday's race and fifth in the sprint, which gives him real chances for a high placement.
