Bulgarian racing talent "Nikola Tsolov" recorded another impressive success after finishing in second place in the race in Spain. Thanks to a perfect strategy by the "Campos Racing" team and a series of spectacular overtakes, our driver secured a place on the podium and officially took the lead in the world championship general standings.

The race did not start in the easiest way for the Bulgarian. He started on the "hard tire compound" and lost pace in the first few laps compared to his rivals, who had chosen "soft compounds". In this early stage, Tsolov was overtaken in succession by "Herta" at the 13th turn, by "Begonovic" and "Martinius Stenshorne", which pushed him further back in the pack. Despite this, the home-grown driver remained calm and informed his team over the radio that the car's handling was improving as the distance progressed.

The decisive moment came when the drivers at the front began to enter the pits for their mandatory stops. The leaders "Alex Dunne" and "Rafael Camara" temporarily vacated the top positions, which allowed Tsolov to lead the pack before he too stopped at the mechanics for a tire change. After the service, the Bulgarian returned to the track in ninth position, now with brand new "soft tires", and began his major attack.

By the 28th lap, Tsolov had already climbed to sixth place thanks to a successful overtake against "Varone". Immediately after that, he began to pressure the drivers in front of him. With excellent use of the "DRS zone" on the main straight, the Bulgarian dealt with "Begonovic" and secured fifth position. The final laps arrived, in which Tsolov made his biggest move.

In the final phase of the race, Nikola first managed to overtake championship leader "Gabriele Minì", and shortly after, with flawless driving and a precise choice of trajectory, he also overcame "Alex Dunne", with which he climbed to second place in the race standings. Thus, only the winner "Rafael Camara" remained ahead of the Bulgarian lion until the finish line.

With this second place and the important points earned, "Nikola Tsolov" achieved a fantastic accomplishment – he is now leading the provisional standings in the world championship. The performance in Spain not only cements his reputation as one of the most promising young drivers but also opens a new chapter in the battle for the title this season.
