Nessebar's Bushido Club Wins Two Medals at the National Karate Championship

At the National Karate Championship in Nessebar, the Bushido club won a silver and a bronze medal, courtesy of Alexander Tetevosyan. The competition brought together nearly 200 competitors from across the country.

The state karate championships in the Kata discipline for all ages and the Kumite discipline for veterans were held in the "Arena Nessebar" hall.

Amidst strong competition, the Nessebar club "Bushido" managed to acquire two medals – a silver and a bronze. Both awards were won by Alexander Tetevosyan. In the Kata discipline for men, he reached third place, and in the Kumite discipline for veterans 40+ years old, he won the vice-champion title, losing the final to Burgas competitor Stiliyan Gyurov by a referee's decision.

Nearly 200 competitors from all over the country took part in the sporting event, and the event was opened by Deputy Mayor Ivan Gurgov, who delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the Mayor of Nessebar Municipality, Nikolay Dimitrov. The official guest of the championships was Shihan Jan Ballow, Director of the Technical Commission of the European Karate Organization (EKO) and President of the Danish Kyokushin Karate Federation.

The competition was closed by the chairman of SC "Bushido" – Nessebar, Shihan Hristo Terziev, who greeted the audience and congratulated the medalists, after which he extended an invitation to everyone to participate in the 15th edition of the prestigious international tournament "Black Sea Cup", which will be held on June 13 and 14 in the same hall.
