Nessebar Karatekas from SC "Bushido" with Medals from Romanian Open

Karatekas from Nessebar returned with medals from the Romanian Open tournament. Dragomir Antov won gold, and Mari Malcheva won silver. The tournament brought together 612 competitors from 8 countries.

Nesebar karatekas from SK "Bushido" returned with impressive distinctions from the prestigious International Tournament "Full Contact Romanian Open International Cup".

The tournament, which brought together competitors from several countries, proved favorable to the young talents from the Bulgarian club, who showed impressive class and won medals in their categories.

The competition, which took place under the pressure of the large sports forum, saw Dragomir Antov win the gold medal in the -55 kg category, U14. The path to the top was not easy. Antov demonstrated impressive preparation, overcoming serious competition. In a fiercely contested fight, he prevailed over opponents from Moldova, Poland, and in the final – over a representative from the host country – Romania.

Mari Malcheva, with her remarkable performance, brought a silver medal to the club, competing in the -45 kg category, U12. Malcheva showed unwavering will and sporting spirit, bravely fighting against rivals from Romania. Her last match, which went through extra time, ended with a minimal loss to a Romanian competitor, but despite this, she deserved the applause of the audience.

Two more competitors from the club, Ivan Kostov and Daria Rodionova, took part in the tournament. Although they failed to reach the medals, they demonstrated a fighting spirit and left a good impression. The team from Nesebar was led by Shihan Hristo Terziev.

The event brought together 612 competitors from 8 countries, turning it into a real celebration of karate sport. Participants came from Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Sweden, Hungary, and Ukraine, which underlined the international character and significance of the competition. The pressure was palpable, but the atmosphere remained friendly, celebrating sportsmanship and the will to win.
