On the occasion of the upcoming most colorful Christian holidays – Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday – Nessebar will once again be announced by the songs and dances of the little Lazar girls from the United Municipal School of Arts. Dressed in beautiful national costumes and decorated with the characteristic colorful wreaths, the girls will recreate the richness of Bulgarian folk traditions with a colorful and festive program.

Before that, the little Lazar girls will pass through the streets of Old and New Nessebar, performing traditional songs and dances and calling for health and well-being for the residents and guests of the city.
The Chitalishte "Yana Laskova" will also take part in the Saturday program, which, together with the students of the UMSI, will present the performance "Lazaritsa".
On Sunday, the Lazar girls will observe the centuries-old tradition by performing one of the most beautiful and mystical rituals in Bulgarian folklore – "kumichene".
