It's cold, I suppose, in Munich. But in my mind, the sun of the Bulgarian Black Sea is shining, because the Municipality of Nessebar has returned from the prestigious tourism exhibition F.re.e, where it presented its treasures. What exactly did the ancient city show and why is this important?

Nessebar on the World Stage

From February 18 to 22, in the heart of Bavaria, one of the most significant events in the tourism calendar took place - F.re.e. Thousands of people from all over the world gathered to seek inspiration for their next vacation. Bulgaria did not lag behind, presenting itself with its own stand, organized by the Ministry of Tourism. And at the center of this presentation was Nessebar.

What makes Nessebar so special that it attracts the attention of German tourists? Well, everything that makes it unique! From the ancient monuments, witnesses to a thousand-year history, to the Revival architecture, which paints a picturesque picture of the past, the city is like a journey through time.

But Nessebar is not just the past. It is also the present, offering opportunities for recreation, sports and entertainment. Sunny Beach, the leading seaside resort, completes the palette, promising unforgettable family vacations. Festivals, events, attractive packages - everyone can find something for themselves.

A Bet for the Future

This year's edition of F.re.e gathered nearly a thousand exhibitors from 50 countries. Nearly 120,000 visitors are expected to have passed through the fair. Therefore, the presentation of Nessebar is important because the sustainable forms of tourism that the municipality is developing are in line with the strategic goals of Bulgaria - to offer a quality and competitive tourism product.

With its participation in Munich, Nessebar not only strengthened its positions in the German market, but also opened the doors to new partnerships. Tour operators, hoteliers, individual travelers - all of them had the opportunity to get to know the beauty of the Bulgarian Black Sea up close.

It is interesting to ask ourselves: what will this presentation bring to Nessebar? Will we see more German tourists walking along the cobbled streets, admiring the ancient churches, enjoying the delicious food? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure - Nessebar made a strong move, which can only bring benefits.
