Over 25 tons is the quantity of textile waste collected on the territory of Nesebar Municipality during the past year 2025 from the separate collection system operating on its territory. This type of unwanted items have already been handed over to “M-TEKS RECYCLING OF TEXTILES” LTD, in accordance with a concluded contract for sorting and providing for reuse and/or recovery.
Specialized containers for the separate collection of waste from clothing and textile materials are available in publicly accessible places in the municipality. The containers are located near Kindergarten “Kalina Malina” (Nesebar) and Kindergarten “Moryache” (Nesebar – residential complex “Cherno More”), in front of the administrative building of Nesebar Municipality in Sunny Beach – west, in front of the town halls in Sveti Vlas, Obzor and Ravda.
The separate collection of textiles reduces pollution, saves resources and prevents the disposal of clothes in the general flow of mixed household waste in the settlements on the territory of the municipality.
