Mayor Dimitar Nikolov presented the Honorary Sign of Burgas Municipality to the volleyball team of “Neftohimik 2010” on the occasion of winning the “Bulgaria” Cup. During his meeting with the management and players of the team, Nikolov said that the team will soon return to the “Mladost” hall, where it traditionally held its matches. Construction and assembly works in the “Mladost” hall have already been completed and the volleyball team “Neftohimik 2010” will be able to return to play in its usual place.
“We have spoken with the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation for Burgas to host the Nations League tournament next year. Further discussions are yet to come, decisions will be made on the hosting and financial security of the sporting event. This will further stimulate the interest of children and young people in volleyball and sport in general,” said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov during his meeting with the management and team of “Neftohimik 2010”.
“I thank Burgas Municipality for what they are doing for us. I believe that with this help we will be able to perform well in the final phase of the championship and take a place that meets our goals and ambitions,” said club president Ognyan Tomov.
