Bulgaria is hosting a rich sports program in October 2025, and the local audience is following with great interest the football championship and many major competitions. In the First Football League, "Levski", "CSKA 1948 Sofia", "Ludogorets" and "Cherno More" occupy leading positions. The tournament table at the beginning of October shows strong results: "Levski" is the leader with 23 points from 10 matches, followed by CSKA 1948 with 22 points and Ludogorets with 21 points. During the month, key derbies will take place, including "Levski" - "Beroe".
Among the international events, the European Kudo Championship stands out - the sports hall "Boycho Branzov" in Burgas is the host, and immediately after that follow important tournaments in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, powerlifting, kickboxing and marathons, which bring together leading athletes from Bulgaria and Europe. The Balkan Wushu Championship and the world competitions in sports dances, chess and swimming are part of the national calendar of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
In swimming, Burgas is hosting the traditional international tournament "Briz - Ivan Stoychev", and in November the "Masters" tournament will be held with the participation of the best swimmers from the country and abroad.
The Bulgarian national and club teams are participating in football qualifiers for the European Championship and the World Championship, and the women's football championship and the Bulgarian Cup continue with a dynamic schedule.
