Final tribute to Lyuben Dilov in Parliament
Today's plenary session of the National Assembly began with an emotional gesture – a minute of silence in memory of Lyuben Dilov. The proposal was submitted by Toma Bikov from GERB-UDF.
"Lyubo Dilov did not like silence, but nevertheless, I will take the liberty of requesting a minute of silence in his memory," Bikov shared with his colleagues.
A lasting mark on Bulgarian politics
- Dilov was elected as a member of the 52nd Parliament, but due to health reasons, he was unable to take the oath of office.
- He served as a Member of Parliament in a total of eight parliaments, leaving a significant mark on political life.
- His colleagues describe him as a person who could not stand pathos, but knew how to grasp the essence of social processes.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mihaela Dotsova, emphasized that Lyuben Dilov undoubtedly leaves a lasting mark on Bulgarian society.
