Parliament is questioning the interim Finance Minister Georgi Klisurski regarding the state of the country. Deputies rejected the establishment of investigative commissions regarding Delyan Peevski and Ivo Prokopiev.

Financial status and parliamentary control

The National Assembly began today's plenary session with a focus on the country's current financial state. The caretaker Minister of Finance, Georgi Klisurski, will be heard by the deputies to provide clarity regarding the budget and fiscal stability.

Personnel changes and committees

The agenda includes a vote on the resignation of Katya Paneva from "Democratic Bulgaria" as secretary of the National Assembly and the election of Lyuben Ivanov in her place. The creation of an Ad Hoc Committee for the Rules of Procedure of the 52nd National Assembly is also being discussed.
