HBO presents a large-scale two-hour documentary film that reveals the intimate world of music legend Billy Joel through exclusive interviews and rarely seen archival footage.

The large-scale documentary project "Billy Joel: And So It Goes" officially launches on July 18, promising an unprecedented immersion into the biography of one of the most influential musicians of our time. Directed by the talented duo Susan Lacy and Jessica Levin, the film offers an extremely in-depth look at the artist's creative journey.

The production includes an impressive 110 out of 121 of Joel's songs, emphasizing his personal stories and creative pursuits. Among the most attractive elements are ten exclusive interviews with musical icons such as Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, and rapper Nas, who complement the narrative with unique personal perspectives.

Special focus is placed on the authenticity of the narrative, with Joel himself insisting on maximum openness and truthfulness. The documentary reveals intimate moments from his career, including the inspiration behind the iconic song "Vienna".

The first part of the documentary series will be available simultaneously on HBO and HBO Max, with the second episode scheduled for July 25. The production is designed to attract both long-time fans of the musician and new viewers who want to deeply explore his creative world.
