Complex Oncology Center – Burgas is joining the international initiative MOVEMBER, which aims to raise awareness of men's health. The focus is on the prevention of prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health. The initiative is aimed at men over 50 years of age and includes free preventive examinations.

Within the campaign, various types of examinations are planned, including a consultation, digital rectal examination, and an ultrasound scan. If necessary, additional tests will be prescribed, such as magnetic resonance imaging or a biopsy.

It is important to note that on the day of the examination, a pre-made PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) test must be presented.

Registration for a free consultation within the MOVEMBER campaign is facilitated. Consultations will be held every Friday in November from 12:00 PM in office 102 of the diagnostic and consultation block at the Oncology Center - Burgas.

On November 5th, an event dedicated to the prevention of prostate cancer will be held at the Regional Library "Peyo K. Yavorov".

MOVEMBER is a month of awareness and support - a time to talk about men's health, to smile and to be together.
