Free breast ultrasound checks, motorcyclists and pink smoke drew a crowd outside the Burgas Complex Oncology Centre. The event is part of the "Pass It On" campaign for breast cancer screening.
October is the month of the fight against the disease and is known as "the pink month".
Dr Ani Dragolova carried out the checks and also saw patients on the day.
Pink clouds rose around the building, while the bikes of the "Sea Brothers" motorcycle club and a group of women riders roared out front.
Dr Dragolova says the aim is to draw attention to the cause, and above all to screening, which she calls extremely important today. She believes women should know well how to look after their own health.
The centre's new head, Dr Nikolay Kiselkov, a surgeon with many years of experience, also attended. "Screening saves lives," he said. He added that it is a way for a woman to care for her health and a guarantee of a full life.
