The manufacturer of seats and acoustic wall panels "Monsit" EOOD is in the final phase of construction of its production base in Burgas, located on the territory of the Industrial Park. The Mayor of Burgas Municipality Dimitar Nikolov informed about the progress of the project.

According to him, the facility is expected to be fully completed and put into operation within the next few months. The new base will be specialized in the production of electrically adjustable seats, seats for cinemas and conference halls, as well as equipment for sports grounds and stadiums. The project envisages the establishment of a production, administrative and presentation area, where the company's products will be presented.

Nikolov also pointed out that in the immediate vicinity, the company "Kozloduy" EOOD is also progressing with the realization of a new production facility, which will expand the existing capacities in the Industrial Park of Burgas. The company, specialized in the production of metal products and specialized equipment, already has an operating base on an area of about 10 decares in the industrial zone.

The investment in the first facility of "Kozloduy" is approximately 5 million leva, and the hired personnel in the company exceeds 100 people. The new project includes the production of pipelines and pressure vessels, metal blanks and reservoirs, valves, chain conveyors and other products.

The mayor of Burgas added that in addition to its traditional activity, "Kozloduy" EOOD will also develop "green" projects related to the production of boilers, electrostatic filters and other solutions aimed at supporting the ecological transition and reducing the negative impact on the environment.

The investment of "Monsit" EOOD is a continuation of the company's plans, announced in September 2022, to build its own base in Burgas. Then the municipality announced through the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency that the project envisages the creation of about 40 jobs and a functional division of the production, storage and administrative part in a property with an area of nearly 9 decares.

Three years later, the company updated its initial intentions, correcting the number of planned jobs. Instead of the initially indicated 40 employees, the creation of 50 jobs in the new base is now envisaged.
