The European financial mechanism SAFE is becoming a major driver for the modernization of the Bulgarian army. During the opening of the 17th International Exhibition "Hemus 2026", Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov announced the finalization of an investment agreement amounting to 3.2 billion euros.

"This will enable the accelerated acquisition of defense capabilities and the development of the national defense industry through joint projects and joint procurements," emphasized Stoyanov.
