The Ministry of Health continues its targeted policy of deinstitutionalization, today officially presenting two specialized centers in Stara Zagora. The new health and social units are the result of a large-scale project funded by the Operational Program "Regions in Growth".

During the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dobromira Kareva emphasized the significance of such initiatives. "Joint efforts between state institutions and local authorities can create real opportunities for children with disabilities," she said, expressing gratitude to the Stara Zagora Municipality for active assistance.

The centers have a capacity to accommodate 16 children, who will be cared for by 16 highly qualified specialists – including childcare workers and medical staff. Serious attention has been paid to accessibility and infrastructure adaptation, which further facilitates the children's daily life.

A key focus of the project is the personalized approach to each child, which guarantees individual care and maximum support for their development.
