Two young people will have the opportunity to experience a day as "president" and "vice president" within the framework of this year's edition of the initiative "Manager for a Day", the press secretariat of the head of state announced. This initiative, which gives young people the opportunity to get acquainted up close with the work of leading institutions and organizations, will once again be welcomed with open doors in the presidency.
The President of the Republic, Rumen Radev, will welcome in his office Matilda Mateva, a student from the Specialized Natural-Mathematical High School "Acad. Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" in Botevgrad. The Vice President, Iliana Iotova, will share her working day with Emiliyan Georgiev, a student from the Secondary School "Kozma Trichkov" in Vratsa. The opportunity for direct contact with the highest echelons of power undoubtedly represents a valuable experience for these young people, who get a unique chance to peek into the processes of state governance.
Later in the day, Rumen Radev and Iliana Iotova will present certificates of participation in the initiative to the two students. This act will mark the end of a day filled with new impressions and will be a symbol of support for young talents, who will have the opportunity to touch the peaks of power.
President Rumen Radev emphasized the importance of young people and their role in overcoming the challenges facing society. "Humanity has repeatedly, when facing serious trials, relied precisely on young people, their energy and fighting spirit, and on new ideas to overcome these trials," he noted within the framework of last year's edition of "Manager for a Day". The President's words emphasize the belief in the potential of young people and the need for their active participation in public life.
