Students and experts discuss the future of the Black Sea region
An inspiring lesson-discussion was held with 10th and 11th-grade students from the "Ivan Vazov" Vocational High School of Tourism in Sunny Beach. The initiative, organized by the Association of Bulgarian Black Sea Municipalities (ABSRM) and the Municipality of Nessebar, focused on the role of young people in the development of a sustainable tourism sector.
"We believe that the potential for a more sustainable, modern, and beautiful Black Sea region lies within the young generation," emphasized the Municipality of Nessebar.
The "World Café" method: Practice and innovation
Using the interactive "World Café" method, the youth worked on real-life cases regarding urban environment development. A highlight of the event was the COOPOWER project, which offers:
- Training in the field of hospitality and event management;
- Direct access to experts and business representatives;
- Development of soft skills – communication, analysis, and creative thinking.
This training format bridges the gap between education and the labor market, preparing future professionals for the real challenges in tourism.
