Young people aged 17 to 29 from Burgas and the region can take part for free in a regional meeting, "Young Detectives of the Future", on 4 November at the International Youth Centre in Burgas. Only 30 places are available.

Participants will discuss the future of cities, artificial intelligence and jobs, and the skills young people will need. They will also talk about new technology, economic and social change, and sustainable development.

The meeting is for young people who want a say in the future of their communities, Bulgaria and Europe. It includes interactive games, creative tasks and teamwork. Participants will study new trends, look for signs of change and describe how they see the future.

The organisers want participants to learn to think critically, work together and suggest ideas for how the places where they live can develop.

People can sign up through an online form. Details are on the website of the Institute for Economic Policy.

The institute is running the meeting under the Erasmus+ programme, with the International Youth Centre as a partner. The event is part of the FUTURISE project ("Youth Dialogues and Visions for the Future of Bulgaria and Europe"). The Burgas meeting is the first step in a wider programme.

The most motivated participants can later apply for the "Young Futurists" Advisory Board and for the creative youth camp "Hello, Is This the Future?". The camp is planned for spring 2027.
