In the extremely competitive 60 kg category for the age group up to 15 years, Komarevsky achieved a total result of 184 kg, which secured him a stable sixth place among the best young talents in Europe. His performance included two successful attempts at lifting weights of 80 and 84 kg, with the third attempt at 88 kg remaining unsuccessful.

The medal standings for men were formed by Georgian weightlifters - Giorgi Kinkladze won silver with 228 kg, and Shota Kakabadze took third place with 217 kg. The championship, which continues until July 31, has already brought two medals for Bulgaria through Borislav Aliyanov and Boyana Kostadinova.
