The professional basketball team Akademik Bulteks 99 continues to purposefully strengthen its roster with promising young talents. The latest addition to the team is 187-centimeter guard Maksim Chokov, whose origin is connected to the Black Sea city of Burgas.
Before joining the new team, Chokov was part of the Cherno more Ticha roster, where he demonstrated remarkable individual qualities. His statistical results from the past season in the National Basketball League for Men (NBL) are extremely promising – an average of 8.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
The management of Akademik Bulteks 99 continues its active selection campaign. In addition to Maksim Chokov, the team has already reinforced itself with experienced players such as Asen Velikov, Rayt-Rivo Laane, Zhakes You, and Ivan Komitski. At the same time, the club also relies on established athletes from the previous season – Obrad Tomich, Vasil Bachev, and Nikolay Mihaylov.
