A meeting between technology and nature at Teen Boom Fest
An intriguing encounter took place at the youth festival in Burgas – the customs dog Ruby met the robotic dog Rashko. The two “colleagues” became the faces of the
"You are not alone"campaign, organized by the Customs Agency and the National Revenue Agency (NRA), which aims to protect young people from the dangers of drugs and gambling.
Focus on prevention
The Director of the Customs Agency, Nikolai Shushkov, emphasized that direct communication with children is key to prevention. This year, the festival is being held under the slogan "Don't be NEXT", with a focus on fighting the spread of fentanyl.
- Ruby: A service dog at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing, specialized in detecting narcotic substances.
- Rashko: A robotic dog that helps in scouting dangerous areas and is a useful assistant in everyday life.
Although they are of a different “breed,” both are proof of how technology and professionalism can benefit society.
