The leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food officially confirmed its plans for financial provision of salary indexations in several key state units. During a press conference in Plovdiv, held after the ceremonial opening of an irrigation canal, Minister Takhov provided comprehensive information about the sources of funding.
According to the presented explanations, the funds for remuneration are provided exclusively from the ministry's internal budget, without affecting the state financial plan. The specific structures that will be covered by the indexation include Regional and Municipal Agricultural Directorates, the Executive Agency for Food Safety, and the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Upcoming negotiations will be conducted between union representatives and state enterprises registered in accordance with Article 62 of the Commercial Law. A key point in the minister's statement was emphasizing that the management boards of these organizations are the only ones authorized to make decisions regarding potential wage increases.
Takhov categorically emphasized his position as a principal who is not directly involved in specific wage negotiations. According to him, commercial companies have autonomy in making decisions about potential financial adjustments to employee compensation.
