The Minister of Internal Affairs Daniel Mitov has submitted a report to Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov regarding measures to improve the training of police officers and strengthen control over the use of technical surveillance means. The Prime Minister has ordered a full inspection of the actions of the police in Varna on June 7, 2025 and the presentation of specific measures that will be taken by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In connection with the order of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, the Minister of the Interior Daniel Mitov has sent a report to the Council of Ministers regarding the measures taken to improve the training of employees with police powers. The document also outlines steps to strengthen the control over the strict observance of the internal rules for the use of technical means for obvious surveillance, known as "body cameras".

Yesterday, Prime Minister Zhelyazkov ordered a full inspection of the actions of the police officers in Varna on June 7, 2025 regarding Yavor Georgiev and the presentation of the specific measures that the political and professional leadership of the Ministry of the Interior will take.
