Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation Ivan Vasilev announced work on the creation of a single point of interaction for citizens and businesses with state institutions. The goal of the initiative is to consolidate and systematize access to administrative services through a mobile application and a website. The minister made the announcement during a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Innovation and Digital Transformation, in response to a question from the "Progressive Bulgaria" parliamentary group.

"In terms of actions, I have first prioritized accelerated work on implementing a digital wallet so that citizens can identify themselves to the state. We are also working on upgrading and digitizing access to electronic services through a single point," Vasilev noted. According to him, information collected by the state must be shared transparently between institutions in order to improve electronic services.

The minister described the process of developing public electronic services to date as chaotic. The comment was made during parliamentary oversight in the relevant committee, where Ivan Vasilev responded to current questions raised by members of parliament.
