The prestigious international ethnographic film festival "OKO" has started selling specialized entry tickets for its upcoming edition, which will cover three different locations: Kyiv, Bolgrad, and Sofia.

The organizers offer three categories of passes with differentiated participation options. The first – "VIP Pass", provides full access to all festival events in the Ukrainian capital between September 5 and 10, including the official opening ceremony.

The special evening on September 5 at ArtPrychal will include an authentic concert with kuker performers and the music group "Malanka", an opening film screening, concert program, and a tasting of traditional Bessarabian culinary specialties.

"Festival Pass" provides an opportunity to participate in all film screenings, professional discussions, and meetings with film crews at the House of Cinema from September 6 to 10. In parallel, "Student Pass" offers identical rights, but with a 50% discount for students upon presentation of a valid student card.

This year's edition focuses on folk masquerades, presenting their ethnographic and cultural diversity. The organizers emphasize the common archetypal messages in ritual practices – the symbolic opposition between light and darkness, old and new, good and evil.

The main mission of the festival is to create an intercultural dialogue through cinema as a communicative tool. By presenting Bulgarian and Ukrainian traditional masquerade practices, the organizers aim to deepen mutual understanding and preserve the cultural heritage of both countries.

The event will cover three state locations: Kyiv (September 5–10), Bolgrad (September 12–14), and Sofia (October 3–11), offering a rich and diverse program for ethnographic cinema enthusiasts.
