The Ministry of Internal Affairs is undertaking an unprecedented renewal of its vehicle fleet, officially introducing 86 new vehicles for Road Police on July 29, 2025. The strategic investment includes a diversified fleet with various models designed for effective patrolling.
The distribution covers 35 high-speed vehicles, 200 official passenger cars, and 227 off-road models that will strengthen the operational capacity of police officers. Minister Stoyanov emphasized that the total order amounts to 462 vehicles, with an additional 300 vehicles expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
The logistics plan is precisely developed, taking into account geographical characteristics and load in different regions. The main focus is placed on coverage of highways, secondary roads, large cities, and border checkpoints. The modernization aims to significantly improve road control and increase road safety.
