Sofia police achieve significant success in combating drug distribution

During a check of a house on "Dr. Kalinkov" street, three people were detained - two men aged 36 and 32, as well as a 19-year-old woman. About 2 kilograms of fentanyl, marijuana, and other narcotic substances were found on site. The sum of 25,000 leva was also seized.

In the "Studentski grad" residential complex, police officers from the Seventh District Department caught a 27-year-old Dutch citizen attempting to sell about 300 grams of marijuana.
Concern about the spread of fentanyl
Chief Commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov, director of SDIA, expressed concern about the frequency of fentanyl discoveries, describing the situation as "quite worrying". He confirmed the police's determination to continue the fight against drug distribution in the capital.
These successful operations demonstrate the effectiveness of the Sofia police in countering drug trafficking and underscore the importance of ongoing efforts to limit the spread of narcotic substances in Sofia.
