A large-scale humanitarian project will be implemented from July 3 to 14, 2025 in the Targovishte municipality. The specialized mobile teams of the "FOUR PAWS" foundation are undertaking comprehensive veterinary activities aimed at homeless and socially disadvantaged pets.

Experts will perform free spaying, vaccination, and deworming of animals in areas with a high concentration of stray cats and dogs. The targeted strategy includes direct medical assistance on-site, which simultaneously addresses population issues and preventive healthcare.

Previous results from similar initiatives demonstrate exceptional effectiveness. Statistical data shows a population decrease of about 30% in the covered territories, which confirms the successful model of collaboration between non-governmental organizations, local administration, and volunteer groups.

The project represents a key element of the annual program of "FOUR PAWS" in Bulgaria and directly supports municipal efforts for humane regulation of the stray animal population.
