Local authorities in Burgas are undertaking large-scale anti-mosquito measures that will cover various urban areas and park spaces. The specialized municipal company "Disinfection Station Burgas" Ltd. has developed a detailed schedule for imagocidal treatments that will be carried out at night.
The disinsection campaign will be implemented from August 11 to 29, 2025, covering numerous residential complexes, parks, and green areas. The treatment interval is strictly defined - from 00:30 to 04:30 in the morning, which minimizes the risk to the local population.
Among the included locations are key urban spaces: Sarafovo neighborhood, Seaside Park, Maritime Station area, Mineral Baths Park, Vetren and Banevo neighborhoods. The treatment will also cover Slaveykov, Saint Trinity, Izgrev, and Iztok parks, as well as many residential complexes such as Lazur, Vazrazhdane, Zornitsa, and Meden Rudnik.
Experts will apply two disinsection methods - cold and warm aerosol, which guarantee effective destruction of the mosquito population. Specialists will use professional technologies allowing maximum precise treatment of the designated territories.
An important condition is the possibility of schedule adjustment in case of unfavorable meteorological conditions. The company reserves the right to change the plan in the presence of rain, strong wind, or other atmospheric disturbances that could compromise the effectiveness of the disinsection.
