Large Water and Sewerage Repair Will Block Central City Area of Burgas for Three Months

The municipality is introducing serious traffic restrictions on a key urban section due to a large-scale infrastructure reconstruction that will continue until November 2025.

The Infrastructure Directorate of Burgas Municipality announced a large-scale temporary change in the city transport scheme that will affect dozens of drivers and residents of the central city area.

The administrative management reported that starting from August 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM, a large-scale repair of water supply and sewage infrastructure will begin on Debelt Street.

The specific restrictive measures include a complete closure of the roadway in the section between Ferdinand Street and Tsarigradska Street. The repair activities are planned to continue for an extended period of three calendar months.

The local administration urgently calls on citizens to show understanding and patience during the construction interventions. Drivers are instructed to use alternative routes that will be marked with temporary road signage.

Experts from the municipal unit emphasized that the undertaken construction and repair activities are extremely necessary for improving urban infrastructure and the quality of technical networks.

All traffic participants are advised to monitor current information about the introduced temporary restrictions and plan their routes in advance to avoid difficulties and delays.
