A large-scale infrastructure project is starting along the Sub-Balkan Road I-6, connecting Sofia, Karlovo, and Burgas. Repair activities cover the joints of five strategic viaducts in the Klisura area, while maintaining full passability of the route.

Construction interventions are planned extremely precisely – they will be carried out without completely stopping traffic. The temporary organization provides for partial traffic restrictions only in the work zones of bridge facilities. The three-lane road structure allows an extremely flexible approach – repairs will be carried out sequentially on individual lanes, always ensuring at least one lane for two-way traffic.

The specific intervention sections are precisely determined – kilometers 219, 220, 221, 222, and 224 along the route. The activities are being implemented within the framework of a contract for current repair and maintenance of national roads in Plovdiv region. The main goal is to improve operational characteristics and increase road safety levels.

The project duration is fixed at 90 working days, which guarantees quality and timely execution. The Road Infrastructure Agency makes an extremely important appeal to all traffic participants – maximum attention, strict adherence to introduced restrictions, and responsible driving.
