Ludogorets strengthens the defense with a talented Israeli national player

Razgrad's grand club attracts promising defender Idan Nahmias, who brings rich experience from leading Israeli clubs and international appearances.

Leading Bulgarian football club "Ludogorets" officially announced the acquisition of an Israeli defender with an international profile. Edan Nachmias, a 28-year-old athlete with Portuguese citizenship, successfully passed medical examinations and joined the team from Razgrad.

The new addition has a solid sports biography, having grown up in the school of Ironi Kiryat Shmona. For his home club, the footballer recorded an impressive 123 matches, demonstrating stability and professionalism. Subsequently, Nachmias established himself as a key player in the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad, where he made 104 appearances with 8 goals scored.

The athlete can boast of two championship titles in his home championship, which further increases his attractiveness as a transfer target. The national team of Israel has also been part of his professional realization - Nachmias has 13 matches for the representative team.

During his presentation, the new defender shared: "Ludogorets is a recognizable European club with ambitious sports goals. I come with the desire to contribute to the team's successes both in the Bulgarian championship and in international tournaments".

Edan Nachmias is the sixth new addition to the club in this summer transfer window, following the acquisition of Stanislav Ivanov, Filip Kaloch, Joel Anderson, Petar Stanich, and Mateus Machado.

The professional profile of the footballer includes interesting details: born on March 17, 1997, in the Israeli settlement of Ani'am, with a height of 190 cm, specialized as a central defender.
