Parliamentary leader Ivelin Mihaylov launched sharp criticism of state policy during informal parliamentary discussions. He emphasized systemic weaknesses in managing critical national challenges, especially regarding fire safety.

In an expressive statement, Mihaylov emphatically stated that simply purchasing equipment does not represent an adequate solution. The main problem, according to him, is rooted in the massive depopulation of provincial areas, which hinders timely fire reporting.

During a direct conversation with the Minister of Regional Development, the politician found a complete lack of strategic vision. "I asked whether there is a plan for the development of individual regions, and the answer was categorically negative," Mihaylov commented.

Additional concern is caused by the planned state loan of 6 billion leva. According to the political leader, Western media analyses suggest that a significant portion of the funds will likely be redirected to military support for Ukraine, which will further burden Bulgarian citizens.
