Burgas Airport announced an expansion of its route network for the upcoming summer season, which is part of the preparations for reopening after the complete rehabilitation of the runway. The repair, worth over 50 million euros, covers the runway and taxiways.
From the beginning of May, Ryanair will operate direct flights between Burgas and Rome Fiumicino, twice a week.
Jet2.com will operate the line between London Gatwick and Burgas, every Wednesday and Saturday.

Transavia France will operate flights on the Paris (Orly) - Burgas route from May 25th, every Monday.
The runway rehabilitation is the largest investment in the airport's history, which will improve the aviation infrastructure.
