The basketball community learned the official confirmation of the contract continuation of the exceptional center Krstan Krstanov with Lokomotiv Plovdiv. The club announced that the player will be part of the team in the upcoming debut season in the National Basketball League (NBL).
The 205-centimeter athlete demonstrated exceptional performance during the past campaign, becoming a key figure in the historic treble of the "black and whites" in the Bulgarian Basketball League. His impressive statistical indicators include an average of 12 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 5 assists in 30 played matches.
In an emotional statement, the club emphasized that Krstanov chose to stay in the team despite numerous received offers. "You proved that your DNA is black and white," the management stated, defining him as an integral part of the "black and white family".
