The leader of “Vazrazhdane” (Revival), Kostadin Kostadinov, called on the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” (DPS) to return the third mandate for forming a government.
Kostadinov stated that if DPS does not return the mandate, this means delaying the elections and hinted at an agreement with President Rumen Radev.
He expressed concerns about the election date, noting that it could be postponed to April 19, which he believes is inappropriate due to the upcoming holidays.
Kostadinov stressed that Rumen Radev should announce whether he will run as the chairman of a political party.
The leader of “Vazrazhdane” believes that Bulgaria needs early elections and that Rumen Radev has given enough time to the government of GERB and “DPS-New Beginning”. He pointed out that more than half a billion leva has been spent since their resignation.
Kostadinov stated that “Vazrazhdane’s” proposal is to have 100% machine voting in the elections.
President Rumen Radev will assign today at 10:00 AM the parliamentary group of the "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" to nominate a candidate for Prime Minister.
Hairi Sadakov from “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” stated yesterday that they will accept the third mandate.
