Vice President Iliyana Yotova is convening parliamentary parties for consultations on nominations for the Central Election Commission. The public hearing is scheduled for June 9.

New consultations for the composition of the CEC

Vice President Iliana Iotova has initiated consultations with the parliamentary-represented parties and coalitions in the 52nd National Assembly. The reason for this is the expiration of the mandate of the current members of the Central Election Commission (CEC).

The goal of the procedure is a transparent and public discussion of the nominations for the future composition of the commission.

When and how will the talks take place?

The public hearing of the proposals is scheduled for June 9 (Tuesday) at "Dondukov" 2. Citizens will be able to follow the entire process in real time through the official website of the presidential institution.
