The "Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria" Foundation, uniting its efforts with the Center for Human Resources Development, announces a regional drawing competition aimed at young people aged 14 to 19 in Burgas and the region. The initiative marks the 35th anniversary of the creation of the international network "Eurodesk", which plays a key role in supporting young people by providing them with information and opportunities for education, volunteering, and personal development within Europe.
The competition is designed as a platform to promote creative thinking, civic engagement, and cultural involvement of young people. It offers them the unique opportunity to turn their artistic ideas into reality, transforming their drawings into large-scale graffiti that will be exhibited in the heart of Burgas.
The theme of the competition is provocative: "From Drawing to Graffiti – Europe Through My Eyes". Participants are invited to share their views on Europe, having the freedom to depict favorite places, represent dreams for travel, symbolize unity, or visualize the future of young people on the continent. Each participant is required to include a brief description of their idea, with a maximum length of 100 words.
The jury will evaluate the works, and the three best drawings will be transformed into graffiti on a facade in the center of Burgas. For the realization of the graffiti, the famous graffiti artist Ivan Yankov - Esteo, whose works are well known in artistic circles, has been invited. The authors of the winning drawings will be awarded with material prizes, and all participants will be invited to a special open event and plein air, organized on the occasion of the opening of the graffiti. At this event, young people will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the opportunities offered by the "Eurodesk" platform.
