BURGAS BECOMES A WORLD CENTER OF SCIENCE WITH A PRESTIGIOUS CONFERENCE ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

BURGAS – The city of Burgas is preparing to become the epicenter of global scientific thought dedicated to artificial intelligence. From September 11 to 13, Burgas State University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" will host the 16th International Conference FQAS 2025 – Flexible Query Answering Systems, which brings together the elite of the scientific field from all over the world.

The forum, which has established itself as one of the most prestigious events on a global scale, will bring together world-renowned scientists and researchers from five continents. They are arriving in the seaside city to present and discuss their latest achievements and breakthroughs in the fields of artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, and data analysis. The arrival of such distinguished individuals from the international scientific community turns Burgas into a hub of innovation and technological discussions.

The conference program is packed and covers topics that are of key importance for the future of technology. Among the highlights are:

• flexible systems for searching and accessing information, which allow for more intuitive interaction with data arrays.
• artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs), which are changing the way computers process and generate text.
• explainable and reliable AI systems, which are meant to ensure transparency and security in the operation of algorithms.
• natural language processing and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• intelligent methods for making decisions under uncertainty.

The conference will also offer special sessions where leading scientists from around the world will outline the directions of innovation development on a global scale. These plenary reports and panels are expected to provide a clear picture of future trends and challenges for researchers.

The high academic level of the forum is guaranteed by the fact that all accepted scientific papers will be published in the prestigious Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series by the publisher Springer-Verlag, which in itself is a recognition of their significance.

A total of 26 scientific papers will be presented to the participants. In addition, the program also includes two practical trainings aimed at the application of new technologies, as well as three plenary reports by distinguished scientists from 18 countries.
