Christmas is a time of warmth and sharing, but for many elderly people in nursing homes, the holiday can be lonely. Therefore, this year the Social Prevention Office at the Municipal Commission for Combating Anti-Social Behavior of Minors - Pomorie Municipality organized a noble Christmas initiative.
The little stars from the kindergarten "Radost" - Kableshkovo, with teachers Mrs. Ivanova and Mrs. Atanasova, as well as the social educators Mrs. Georgieva and Mrs. Dyakova, made wonderful Christmas cards. The students from PGТ "Aleko Konstantinov" - Pomorie joined in by making traditional Christmas gingerbread cookies.
A small group of children visited the elderly, bringing them a lot of light, love and warmth. Cards and treats were also received by the children from the Family-Type Accommodation Center for Children and Young People with Disabilities in Pomorie.
The head of the Municipal Commission for Combating Anti-Social Behavior of Minors, Diyana Kalcheva, emphasized the importance of small gestures and the attention shown to the elderly, which makes a huge difference during the holidays.
