The Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bulgaria, H.E. Mehmet Sait Uyanık, met with the Mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, during his visit to the city. During the conversation, he congratulated the mayor on Burgas hosting the upcoming "Eurovision" song contest and wished the city success in the preparation and execution of the major international event, while expressing his readiness to provide support.
During the same visit, the officials discussed opportunities for the further development of cooperation between Bulgaria and Türkiye. The dialogue focused on topics of mutual interest related to the economy, investments, education, medicine, and the partnership between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Burgas, Tolga Orkun, and Ivelina Strateva, Director of the "Economy and Economic Activities" Directorate at the Municipality of Burgas.
