With a total of 291.58 points, Valentin Lyutskanov solidified his status as the absolute record-holder in the individual annual competition. This success brings him his 10th jubilee title from the National Championship, to which he adds five "Bulgaria" Cup wins. Following him in the individual rankings were Anastas Bachvarov from "Marlin" Primorsko with 214.65 points, and Burgas competitor Nikolay Tanev, who fell just one point short of the silver medal. In the same discipline, Momchil Stoychev from KPSD Varna earned the prize for the largest fish, catching a sea bass weighing nearly 8 kilograms.
At the team level, the 39th National Championship title went to "Chernomorets Burgas". The club, consisting of Plamen Arabadzhiev, Anton Arabadzhiev, Nikolay Tanev, and Valentin Lyutskanov, achieved an impressive total of 632.13 points, securing their place in the history of Bulgarian extreme sports. Rounding out the top three were the Varna-based "Vatus Pro" with 410.91 points and the divers from OSKPR "Marlin" Primorsko with 407.09 points. A total of nine of the most elite teams from the cities of Burgas, Varna, Sofia, Shabla, Nesebar, and Primorsko competed in the waters off Tsarevo, where the 58th National Championship took place.
The next key event on the Bulgarian Underwater Sports Federation calendar is scheduled for September 12 in the village of Rezovo. The final round of the "Bulgaria" Cup competition will be held there, with expectations that the trophy will be awarded to Veselin Tomov from Varna's "Vatus Pro" for his accumulated points throughout the year.
International appearances for the national competitors begin between October 22 and 25. The Euro-African Spearfishing Championship will take place in Montenegro, where Bulgaria will be represented by a national team consisting of:
