European Cinema Celebrates on May 9
On the occasion of Europe Day, the National Film Center invites cinema lovers to a special selection of films. European cinema has always been the "silent translator" between cultures, uniting us through emotions that need no translation.
In a world that often speaks in a loud voice, European cinema teaches us to listen and to discover that the person on the other side of the border is not a foreigner, but simply a stranger.
Where to watch?
The screenings cover the entire country. In the capital, the event is taking place at the Vlaykova, Dom na Kinoto (Cinema House), Euro Cinema, G8, Odeon, and Casa Libri cinemas. The celebration of the seventh art also reaches:
- Plovdiv: Lucky – Dom na Kinoto
- Varna: Festival and Congress Center
- Veliko Tarnovo: Palace
- Kavarna: Petar Slabakov
- Dobrich: Ikar
- Burgas: Sea Casino
- Other cities: Silistra, Popovo, Svishtov, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Kazanlak, Shumen, Razgrad.
