The fifth edition of the "Sveti Vlas Film Fest" begins in July
The summer film festival "Sveti Vlas Film Fest" returns for its fifth edition, which will take place from July 2 to 5. The program includes nine titles, and the film forum will open with the "Golden Rose" winner – "Made in E.U" by director Stephan Komandarev.
Competition program and highlights
The competition program includes significant Bulgarian productions, among which are:
- "Before I Forget" by Stanislav Donchev
- "Brunch for Beginners" by Yana Titova
- "3 Kilograms of Happiness" by Zornitsa-Sophia
- "Lust" by Ralitsa Petrova
- "A Tale of Mother and Son" by Dimitar Sardzhev
- "Wild Strawberries" by Tatyana Pandurska
- "Star" by Kamen Stoyanov
The festival will close on July 4 with the film "Birthday" by Ivaylo Penchev.
All screenings during the festival are with completely free admission for the audience.
Jury and organizers
This year the jury is headed by director Milko Lazarov, and its members also include Pavel Vesnakov, Radina Kardzhilova, Dimitar Stoyanovich, and Vladimir Todorov. The artistic director of the forum is Assoc. Prof. Deyan Statulov, PhD, and the main drivers are Daniela Dineva and Marian Valev. A highlight of the program is the presentation of L'EUROPEO magazine in memory of Lyuben Dilov-son.
