National cyber experts warn mobile communication platform users about an extremely dangerous digital threat that can instantly compromise users' personal information.

According to the official statement from the Cybercrime Directorate, criminals are developing extremely perfidious manipulation strategies. The main attack channels include sending fraudulent links under various pretexts - invitations to view photos, participate in surveys, or service messages that supposedly require re-registration.

The classic fraud scheme involves receiving a referral from an already compromised contact in the potential victim's phone directory. Criminals skillfully abuse trust by creating seemingly authentic messages requesting financial assistance or money transfers.

The exposed communication channels lead to fake platforms that require entering extremely sensitive personal data - phone numbers, confirmation codes, and other confidential information.

Specialists from GDBOP categorically recommend completely ignoring such suspicious messages. The main protective mechanisms include: immediately deleting links, not disclosing personal data, and increased digital vigilance.

The criminals' ultimate goal is multi-layered - from direct financial fraud to illegally acquiring communication profiles for further abuses.
