Students from the 6th and 7th grades of the "Hristo Botev" Primary School in the "Sarafovo" quarter, accompanied by teachers and project leaders of the "Career Orientation" project, visited military unit 54 950 – Burgas. This event, filled with interest from the children, took place within the framework of a project whose main goal is to familiarize adolescents with diverse professions and opportunities for future career development.
The atmosphere of the place was permeated with curiosity. The group of children, visibly excited, approached the military unit, where an engaging program awaited them.
During the visit itself, the students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the main activities and responsibilities of the career military personnel. A wide palette of roles and specializations within the military structures was revealed to them. Attention was paid to the specific professions that officers, sergeants, sailors, and experts in fields such as finance and legal consultants can occupy. The children, engrossed in the details, asked questions and sought to understand more about every aspect of the professional life of the military personnel.
Within the framework of the meeting, the children received valuable information regarding the necessary skills, knowledge, and personal qualities that are key to successful realization in the Navy. In addition, the students were guided regarding the different options for applying after graduating from secondary education, which sparked additional interest and prompted reflection on their future plans.
Activity and engagement were observed on the part of the students. They not only asked questions but also demonstrated a lively interest in the possibilities for professional realization in the "Security and Defense" sector. This was visible from their faces – curiosity and a desire to learn more emanated from them.
Undoubtedly, the visit contributed to increasing their motivation, while at the same time expanding their horizons for future development opportunities. An environment was created that stimulated thinking about a future career and helped to form clearer ideas about different professions.
