The National Karate Championship in Gabrovo crowned champions and revealed the potential of young Bulgarian karateka.
The two-day event, held on September 20 and 21, brought together 550 competitors from 43 clubs, all members of the Bulgarian National Karate Federation (BNFK).
The atmosphere in the sports hall was intense – hundreds of enthusiastic karateka, supported by their coaches and families, fought for prestigious awards.
The competition was held according to the strict rules of the World Karate Federation (WKF), setting a high bar for all participants.
The competition was extremely fierce, and each match became a real battle of will and skill.
Brilliant achievements of the Burgas club "Sansai"
Among the brilliant achievements, the Burgas karateka from club "Sansai" stood out.
Despite the high competition, they demonstrated their exceptional qualities, winning a total of nine medals. Five of them were silver, and four – bronze.
Their successes encompassed various age groups – children, cadets, and juniors – demonstrating the wide range of talents in the club.
National Karate Cup – qualification for international competitions
The National Karate Cup is an event of exceptional importance for Bulgarian karateka, as it serves as a qualifying tournament for the upcoming Balkan and World Karate Championships.
The success of "Sansai" and other participants in this competition is of particular importance, as it determines who will represent Bulgaria on the international stage and will face elite karateka from all over the world.
The medals won in Gabrovo are a step on the way to even greater successes and will remain in the history of Bulgarian karate.
