The campaign for the presidential run-off ends today, with the candidates addressing voters. Bulgaria votes for a president on Sunday, 1 November.
Two tickets are in the run-off: Andrey Gyurov and Georgi Kandev, and Iliana Yotova and Kiril Valchev. The Central Election Commission drew lots to set the speaking order. Gyurov and Kandev go first, followed by Yotova and Valchev.
The previous development: Yotova and Gyurov to hold only one debate before runoff, on BNT on Thursday
The campaign's only debate was held last night. Bulgarian National Television announced it on Wednesday and broadcast it live from its own studio. Bulgarian National Radio also carried it. The topics were public issues where the president has the main say, plus the candidates' policies, views and values.
On 1 November, Bulgarian National Radio will cover the vote in its news and other programmes. Myara and Alpha Research, the radio's partners for election coverage, will provide poll projections.
